1. Introduction

FETMX8MM-C is a system on module designed by Forlinx based on NXP 64-bit featuring processor i.MX8M Mini, and it has below features

  • Frequency up to 1.8GHz
  • ARM Cortex-A53 architecture
  • 2GB DDR4 RAM
  • Has a general purpose Cortex®-M4 400 MHz core processor is for low-power processing
  • A wide range of audio interfaces are available, including I2S, AC97, TDM, and S/PDIF.
  • A number of other interfaces for connecting peripherals, such as USB, PCIe, and Ethernet.

2. Highlights

01. Superior performance with cool system experience

The i.MX 8M Mini family of processors features advanced implementation of a quad Arm® Cortex®-A53 core, which operates at speeds of up to 1.8 GHz and also on-board 2GB DDR4 RAM take users lightsome system experience.

02. H.265, VP9 decoder

It can support H.265 and VP9 decoding up to [email protected] 60FPS, compared with H.264, mean decode efficiency improved by 50%, while band width and capacity is only half of H.264.

03. Later operation system with higher security level

Forlinx SOM FETMX8MM-C can support Android9.0 and Linux4.14(QT5.10) both are 64-bit systems, later optimized systems and UI take uses higher security and better HMI experience.

04. A wide range of audio interfaces

The FETMX8MM-C has a wide range of audio interfaces are available, including I2S, AC97, TDM, and S/PDIF; It can support five SAI channels which can be configured to IIS, AC97 and TDM; It can also support FLAC7.1 output and ring audio input which is appliable for hi-fi music system and sound recognition system solutions.

FETMX8MMX-C system on module consists of a Cortex-M4 core with frequency up to 400MHz,it can communicate with Cortex-A53 by internal AHB, it can be used for for low-power processing and real-time task processing
