Forlinx Embedded First to Join NXP-CloudLab

Forlinx Embedded has become the first company to settle in the NXP-CloudLab, a new cloud laboratory developed by NXP. The lab utilizes cloud technology to enable remote access and usage of NXP development boards, providing engineers with an unprecedented convenient experience.

In this cooperation, Forlinx Embedded launched two development platforms based on NXP high-performance processors— OKMX95xx-C and OKMX8MPQ-SMARC.

OKMX95xx-C platform features six high-performance ARM Cortex-A55 cores, along with a built-in Cortex-M7 real-time core and a Cortex-M33 security core. It is equipped with a neural processing unit (NPU) offering 2 TOPS of computing power, supports multiple interfaces natively, and includes an image signal processor, making it ideal for applications in edge computing, automotive wireless connectivity, and smart cockpits, and other fields.

OKMX8MPQ-SMARC platform is characterized by its powerful quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 processor and an NPU with up to 2.3 TOPS. It also features a built-in image signal processor (ISP) and a rich array of high-speed communication interfaces, enabling efficient visual systems and multimedia functionalities to meet the demands of smart city, industrial IoT, healthcare, and other applications.
